About Me

BDFFor over 30 years, I served as the Legal Administrator for a progressive law firm handling human resources, benefits, managing the computer systems, major purchases for the firm, financial matters including trust accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, billing and collections, and tax deposits. I coordinated the firm’s two moves and an office expansion.  I directed the evolution of the firm from a IMB Selectric Typewriter to a Wang multi-user system, then to a networked DOS based computer system and eventually to Windows. I converted the firm from manual timekeeping to computer billing. I was responsible for computer system and network administration of complex computer network consisting of both Novell Netware and Microsoft NT Servers. I have experience in various legal and general computer applications.  Prior to becoming an Administrator, I began my career as a file clerk for Hartford Insurance Company and quickly moved up as secretary to the Manager of Department. After taking time out to raise my family, I took a job as Secretary to Assistant Vice President of Rollins Protective Services and then became legal secretary in the home office of the Rollins, Inc. Law Department.
